Circus Punk

I Circus Punk sono un duo brianzolo formato da Antonio Squillante (batteria) e Arianna Muttoni (chitarra e voce). Attivi da anni nella scena underground italiana, hanno costruito la propria identità attraverso un’intensa attività live che li ha portati a percorrere l’Italia da nord a sud, superando i 200 concerti e condividendo il palco con artisti e band come Viagra Boys, Ministri, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Ritmo Tribale, Derozer e Punkreas.

La loro musica nasce dall’incontro tra l’urgenza del punk rock e una scrittura capace di raccontare emozioni, cadute e ripartenze. Un percorso in continua evoluzione che li vede esplorare territori sonori sempre nuovi senza perdere l’energia e l’autenticità delle proprie radici.

Nel 2026 entrano nella famiglia de La Tempesta Dischi con “Come un Re”, un brano nato da una separazione dolorosa e da quei momenti in cui il tempo sembra fermarsi e ogni notte appare più lunga della precedente. Una canzone che racconta il cambiamento e la rinascita, la difficoltà di lasciarsi andare e la forza necessaria per rialzarsi, ritrovare sé stessi e guardare avanti. Prodotto e registrato da Ivan Segreto nel suo studio immerso nelle campagne di Sciacca, il singolo rappresenta un nuovo passo nel percorso della band, confermando la volontà di uscire dagli schemi del proprio sound più ruvido e distorto per esplorare atmosfere diverse.

Un’attitudine già emersa con il precedente singolo “Colla a Caldo”, realizzato in collaborazione con gli Africa Unite, e che continua a guidare la ricerca artistica del duo. Il 12 agosto 2026 i Circus Punk saranno tra gli ospiti del Jova Summer Party, in apertura a Jovanotti, una tappa importante che segna un nuovo capitolo nella storia della band e anticipa l’arrivo di nuova musica.

Circus Punk are a duo from Brianza, Northern Italy, formed by Antonio Squillante (drums) and Arianna Muttoni (guitar and vocals). Over the years they have built their reputation through an intense live activity, playing more than 200 shows across Italy and sharing the stage with artists and bands such as Viagra Boys, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Ministri, Ritmo Tribale, Derozer and Punkreas.

Their music combines the urgency and energy of punk rock with a deeply personal songwriting approach, capable of turning emotions, setbacks and new beginnings into songs. Constantly evolving, Circus Punk have developed a sound that remains rooted in their punk attitude while embracing new influences and exploring different musical territories.

In 2026 they joined La Tempesta Dischi with the release of “Come un Re” (“Like a King”), a song born out of a painful breakup and those moments when time seems to stand still and every night feels longer than the one before. It is a song about change and rebirth, about the difficulty of letting go and the strength required to move forward, find yourself again and keep your head held high. Produced and recorded by Ivan Segreto at his studio in the countryside surrounding Sciacca, Sicily, the track marks another step in the band’s artistic evolution, moving beyond the raw and distorted sound that first defined them.

This willingness to experiment had already emerged with the previous single “Colla a Caldo”, released in collaboration with Africa Unite, and continues to shape the duo’s creative journey. On August 12, 2026, Circus Punk will join the line-up of the Jova Summer Party, opening for Jovanotti in what represents another important milestone and a glimpse of what is yet to come, with new music already on the horizon.
